Burson Audio Soloist 3X Performance Headphone Amplifier & Pre-Amp

    Burson Soloist 3XP

    The Idealist Returns

Introduced in 2005, the original Soloist was a bit rough around the edges. Still, with its fully discrete circuitry, resistor ladder volume control and Class-A amplification, the Soloist made a name for oneself, turning Burson from a band of idealists into a brand representing ideals.

The Soloist returns, all grown up and civilised, but without forgetting his humble, blue-collar lineage. He returns to upset the audio industry aristocracy with his flair for performance and working-class affordability.

    Astonishing Power

The Soloist 3X-Performance spits out 8000mW in XLR and 4000mW single-ended. Yet, it can drive headphones up to 110db sensitivity without detectable current noise. There is simply nothing like it in the industry.

The key to this ferocious power and pitch-black background is 3 sets of Burson proprietary Max Current Power Supplies (MCPS) Learn More [+], delivering instant, abundant and clean energy to its fully discrete and Class-A circuitry.

    Headphone Power Amp Mode

Less is more, and that is the truth even when using the best components on the signal path. Although the MUSE72320 is an incredible volume controller, we’ll let you bypass it when your DAC or preamp already controls volume.

You can also use the Soloist X to boost the driving power of your favourite soundcard while centralising volume control from your favourite playback software or games. It would be the ultimate upgrade to any listening and gaming experience.

    Self-Assured But Never Self-centred

The Soloist is confident and self-assured, but it still plays to your preference. It encourages opamp rolling with gold plated DIP8 sockets on its signal path. With countless audio opamps out there, you have complete freedom to create a unique listening experience.
